Mindfulness is about being present in the moment. It not only frees us from worries of the past or future, but it connects us to the here and now. It calms the mind, and brings awareness to what we are doing – whether it be sitting quietly, eating, dancing or going for a walk. With calmness, comes clarity and emotional safety. It brings an awakening allowing us to truly listen to ourselves, and release negativity from the past.
