Cáfnes Movement

Cáfnes Movement consists of gentle, slow, thoughtful exercises, which allows for a freedom of movement that puts your health and needs at the heart of the practice. Although gently guided, it encourages instinctive movement and mind-body connection to release tension and stress and help let go of trauma and negative energy.

Designed for our times, but informed by ancient practice, Cáfnes Movement is for everybody, but particularly good for:

  • Very active, or busy people, who rarely switch off or have the opportunity to slow down and connect with and listen to their bodies.
  • Those recovering from depression, past trauma or feeling overwhelmed with life.
  • People with limited mobility or those recovering from injury. You will never be invited to stretch yourself further than your body can manage.

You might recognise the influences of Qigong, Yoga even dance in Cáfnes Movement and you are encouraged to bring all learnt mindful movement from your past into your Cáfnes Movement practice. You will always work at your level and in your unique way, with the support of your Cáfnes Movement Guide.

You will learn to release emotional and physical blockages, rebalance, clear and move energy around your body. Using visualisation you will create protection around yourself allowing you to push away anything that no longer serves you and draw towards you positive energy (or Cáfnes)
